Physical Education

Schedule: TUESDAYS 10AM - 11AM

What We Do?

In a P.E. class, young children engage in a myriad of lively and energetic activities that cater to their developing physical abilities and social interactions. Eager to explore their bodies and surroundings, these little ones enthusiastically participate in games like tag and relay races, where they eagerly sprint, laugh, and learn to cooperate with their peers. They take part in stretching exercises that make them feel like playful animals, and they joyfully practice basic movements like hopping, skipping, and jumping, building their coordination and balance.

Here's a list of skills that young learners can develop through their P.E. experiences:

  1. Physical Fitness: P.E. class helps children improve their cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, and overall physical health.

  2. Motor Skills: Children refine their gross motor skills (running, jumping, throwing) and fine motor skills (grasping, hand-eye coordination) through various activities.

  3. Balance and Coordination: Activities like balancing on one foot, hopping, and skipping enhance children's sense of balance and coordination.

  4. Spatial Awareness: Engaging in games and exercises helps kids understand their bodies in relation to space and navigate their environment more effectively.

  5. Teamwork and Cooperation: Participating in team sports and group activities teaches children the importance of collaboration, communication, and working together towards a common goal.
